Muslims are expected to pray in a special way five times a day.  This organised prayer is called Salah.  Salah consists of a series of prayers and actions.  Muslims all over the world pray at the same time, in the same way and face the same direction, the city of Makkah.  This gives them a feeling of belonging to the world-wide Muslim community.
